Can't make an offer

I can't make an offer.  When I enter the offer it takes me to a "we looked everywhere" page inside the offer frame.  *bleep* is this about?  I've tried with different browsers on different Internet connections and get the same behaviour on everything.

Seems like eBay doing everything they can to mess up their previously-working website again.

It might be because it's maintainance day ,A.K.A. " Freaky Friday" ,glitches galore.

Have you tried making an offer on the item(s) in question by logging in on one of eBay's overseas websites?  If the problem you are experiencing is due to a glitch that is specifically affecting the UK site then it may be possible to get around it and successfully submit your Best Offer by logging off of eBay UK and using one of eBay's other sites.  Whenever I've had to use one of eBay's overseas websites in the past in order to get around eBay UK site glitches I've often found that if I log onto www.ebay.com, which is the USA version of the site, I can then bypass the problem and get the transaction to complete.

Send seller a message saying would you accept such and such for this

tell them make offer button is down and if they accept ask would they kindly amend the item price so you can buy it now

I'm getting the same problem. I haven't been able to put in an offer on anything over the last week. I've tried different browsers, cleared caches, cookies, history, re-logged in, nothing works. I get the 'Page can't be found' error'.

I'm sure it's nothing my end and is very much down to ebay themselves. Very frustrating.

Same issue for me - Not on all items though.  I tried offering on 3 items from the same seller and one gives the "We looked everywhere." error.

As you can see from all the above posts you are not alone !

eBay are saying they are aware of the tech issue,  and are ' working on it'.

Though,  no date for a fix announced!

yep had the same thing happen to me on 2 items, I do hope the selling don't find out that they are missing out on a great deal because eBay are mucking about again .

I just came to check whether others were facing the same issue too. I've been experiencing this problem for the past three days. 

Edit - I followed a previous advice on this thread and was able to make a best offer by logging into ebay.com using my UK login credentials.
