Bizzare problem at checkout

EBay will not let me checkout when I try to buy a certain type of perfume from ANY seller, in any part of the country, even if they have sent me an offer!

I have bought this particular perfume (Prada paradoxe) in the past few months off eBay sellers with no issues but now, when I get to the payment screen, I get a weird ‘item not available in your area’ type message??

I have googled this message and found nothing that helps me. I have never had problems on eBay, I have used it for years and have good feedback etc.

Anyone else having this issue that can advise me? I’m completely baffled, it’s so odd!
If it matters, they are the small vial perfumes I always buy, the sample type ones that you can pop in your bag.

There have been many similar issues with “Unfortunately, this item isn’t available for purchase in your location.” messages being shown to buyers. It has been going on for some time!

I don’t think any meaningful reason for this error has been found.

If you can buy as a guest, then it is obviously something linked to your account, though.

Re: Bizzare problem at checkout

Thanks for your reply. Yes I do understand there is probably lots of people getting the ‘not available in your area’ glitch but for me to get it against just one specific thing? From every seller?! Deeply odd.
Also, if I try to check out as a guest (good suggestion) I am unable to use the offer the seller sent me…but I wonder if I did accept the offer the seller sent me, would it force payment? Hmm .. risky though

Quite strange how there is no human help that I can reach out to at eBay. Weird way to run a business.
