Only a seller can remove the auto paid option on offers if they wish to do so.

To be fair , many sellers do not even know they've been opted in,  it wasn't a choice, but they can opt out.

Before sending an offer , message the seller , ask if they are in this scheme , would they opt out so you can select to pay with the payment method of your choice.  They don't have to oblige of course,  but defintiely worth asking.

Oh ok I thought as much but thanks for confirming, what I normally do is message the seller and ask what is the best offer they would accept and ask them to send you said offer or you can send them a low ball offer and hope they counter offer with the price your happy with.

By all means send those messages but also, as said,  some sellers may not know they've been opted into this  'immediate payment' from their buyers,  and therefore,  this will exclude your choices for payment, combined postage, click and collect just for examples.  Worth asking for them to check if they're in, could they kindly opt out !

Isn't this shambollic, unanounced unilatteral 'changes', then leaving the affected to try and discover let alone mop up the mess?
As an ex PM I'd have been sacked for implementing changes without communication and a semblance of acknowledgement.
It should have at least been made a sellers option to make/select. This is just as bad as MS with unexplaind 'updates', let alone with un stated consequences.

Won't use offers anymore, automatic payment means I cant use any of the cashback sites or vouchers, really is a backward step
