Ebay selected my account for a special offer that if I spend at least £10 on Ebay Live then they will give me two £25 off £50 spend vouchers which seem to be valid on normal ebay listings.
It's a good deal and I have an idea how I would use the two vouchers but I'm really struggling to find anything worth buying on Ebay Live. I've tuned into live sales over the past couple of days and the stuff they are selling seems to be near worthless (mostly modern collectible cards) and often more expensive than normal buy it now items on the site.
Has anyone got any tips on how to find something almost worth the money on Ebay Live? I'm not looking for a bargain it just feels like I would be throwing my £10 away to get these two £25 vouchers.
It would be nice to get something that held most of it's value even if I didn't want it.

If you're just spending £10 to save £50, why spend too much time worrying about it? Your time is valuable too. eBay Live is late to the game, so I'm not sure how many experts you will find on these Boards.

In the end I bought a pack of Pokemon cards on a Live auction for £10.08 with free postage.
I'm amazed how many people are buying them at roughly twice the price of a normal listing. I guess they like the thrill of seeing them opened on screen. Some buyers were spending serious money on lots of overpriced common packs. Ebay Live is not for me.
Anyway I asked the guy to send mine sealed rather than open on screen.
I'll just relist them to get some of the money back.
Hopefully that's earned 2 lots of £25 towards my kids Christmas presents.

Good luck with getting the vouchers. I've been waiting for a while now. bought stuff on the 19th September and got fed up waiting so phoned them up today. CS rep couldn't help so put me through to the selling dept who couldn't be bothered to answer the phone. held on for 45 minutes only for them to cut me off. Feeling ripped off now 😞

Thanks my £25 voucher came automatically and I've already used it once and it's still showing as available for another use. Good luck with getting yours if you made a qualifying purchase.
