I want to buy a £10 item and I get this message “ you cannot bid or buy this item as you are not a business seller ...”. Contacted the seller who said to contact customer services. Any ideas? I’m not a business seller but the item is just a wee frame so not sure why it won’t let me bid or buy it. Thanks in advance.

There is a seller selling fake silver bracelets on ebay. Im aware of the bracelets because i bought one as non silver a few years ago so when i came across the listing i knew straight away what they were. When i Searched ebay i found one other seller selling them from china listing them as a fashion braclet not a silver one. When i looked at the uk sellers buy profile it was full of purchases from that seller although the item was hidden. The uk sellers profile contained a couple of people who had left negatives for the bracelet with the buyer responded saying many sold no issue etc. I have contacted ebay 4 times sending the link to the uk sellers item and the link to the chinese listing which is around £60 cheaper. The seller buys them for £20 lists them for £85 and has sold many of them to unsuspecting buyers. I have explained in my message that if ebay checks the uk sellers buy history he will clearly see he is buying them as non silver and relisting them as silver. Ebays answer is to give me a generic we will do something about it that might not be visible which frankly is a lie if the item is fake the item should be removed and that is not happening. Is there a way to actually get this sorted or do i really have to deal with this myself? its pretty disgusting that anyone with half a brain could check his buy history and then remove his listings yet they wont do it

Hi all, I have been stressing out for the past week or so and just wanted to get some reassurance from you guys. I have purchased a high value item last week and it was expected to be dispatched during that week, however the seller has come up with several excuses (working, not able to go to the post office, car broken down) and it seems like I may have been duped. The expected delivery date is tomorrow and I would like to open a INR and just ask for a refund, however I'm worried that the seller may reject the refund and dispatch the item and will probably send an empty box or box of paper. Worse case scenario, I'm I able to open a I didn't Receive the item case and if the seller does dispatch the item and it's not what I'm expecting. I'm I still able to open a Item Not As Describe case (whilst closing the INR case)? What other options do I have? Also the seller seems reputablewith 1k+ Feedback & 100% Any advise would be much appreciated

I ordered a book before Christmas from an international seller and was happy to have grabbed a copy as it is out of print and this seemed to be in good condition and from what seemed to be an honest seller. A few days ago I got notification that my delivery from Pitney Bowes would be with me soon and I was a bit confused as I've never heard of them and couldn't understand what I'd ordered. Today the delivery arrived and it seems they are a carrier for Hermes or something. I opened it up and there was a broken PS1 lid inside it. I've never owned a Playstation and certainly hadn't ordered a lid so immediately thought my bank card had been cloned or something, but checking my accounts everything seemed fine. I got in touch with Pitney Bowes and they weren't much help but in the meantime I cross referenced the Hermes tracking that they'd supplied and it matched with the ebay order I'd made. I was and am gutted. It wasn't cheap and I've obviously been scammed. Never happened before. I immediately opened a case and left a negative (and slightly rude) review. The seller has immediately contested it, refused my return and has replied simply saying "End. Deal with Ebay or Ebay will deal with you!" What do I do!! The seller does actually have a clean slate across their previous reviews, going back a few years too, but that doesn't help me at all and leaves me with a dirty broken PS1 lid that I don't want!!

Hi Everyone. I am trying to bid for a cutlery set, but when I get to age verification it errors and takes me to the US site, then sends me to 'page not found'. I already have a credit card registered in My Account on the payment page, but this still doesn't seem to let me bid. Is there another solution to this? Thanks, Hannah

I have to return an item and the address is wrong on the return label. There's no house number just the road/ cresent and postcode. The seller is not responding. How can delivery be attempted? Will I lose my refund?

I have a Chinese seller who is playing me. The sale was deficient an item that would cost £19 to buy. He offered to send it and a £5 refund if I withdrew my open issue. Clearly, I asked for resolution first. After much prevarication hetold me to return the item for a refund - and sent £3.82 to PayPal for postage costing £10.45. I'm at Day 18 - so only 3 days left - but with the item marked for return, I cannot open a case with ebay to step in. If I sent the item, I'm £7 further out of pocket with almost no chance that the seller will confirm receipt of the item and refund me. How do I resolve?

Hey everyone, Im both a buyer & seller on Ebay & im big on leaving reviews for either trasaction when positive. My question is, I recently had to open a INR case (Frist time I have had to do this a buyer) as the item had not arrive 7 days after ecpected delivery with no tracking available. Turns out the Postman had put the item through my neighbours letter box & my neighbour hadnt been able to get to me due to slpping on ice outside his house and has been stuck in bed. I have closed the cased and put notes for Ebay to advise that this was not a fault of the sellers, it was a delivery mistake by the postment, as I dont want the seller to have anything negative added to their performance down to this error out with his control, is this the correct thing to do? I would also like to leave him a postive review, but the option to review is no longer avaibale. Can I still review this seller or is it standard that review option is revoked when INR has been raised. Many thanks Sam

Hi My Watch List keeps going back to 10 items per page, which is getting quite frustrating! Is there a way to set a default amount? Is 100 the maximum? If I cannot set a default, are there any workarounds? This is on a PC and on the website, not on a mobile device and not using an app. Many thanks

I would like to leave a detailed review and star rating for some items I bought but I cannot find any links or menu options for that. Only feedback on sellers. I know ebay sent me a link before to review some items but I haven't heard anything since. Is there no option to do it manually? Thanks

Just lately when serching for items for my car the results come up as usual, when i click on a link to a product and then enter my car details i get the message " This item does not fit ***** " This happens even if i include my car make and model in the initial search. At first i thought it may be " one of those things " so i did random searches for items i did not need but still stating my car in the search box. EVERY result that comes up states the item will not fit my car ! EVEN if the advert says it will ! What the bleep is going on ? How are people expected to be able to find and buy items if all the results state they will not fit ? Sellers must be missing out on a lot of sales because of this. Come on eBay, get your act together and sort this out or, like many of my friends, i will be forced to go to Amazon for my needs. This issue began just before christmas last year, i'm only just mentioning it as i thought, rather naively it seems, that eBay would have sorted it out before now.
