I've bought a sickle whish is supposed to be coming tomorrow - it says it is a "Sponsored Item" What exactly does that mean?
The term "sponsored item" is misleading. It just means that the seller is paying eBay an extra fee to promote their item.
For a company that calls postage "free" when it's included in the price, this is par for the course.
Sponsored items are where a seller pays ebay a percentage of the sale price to show their advert more than other non sponsored adverts.
