A seller won.t refund until I set up a case with eBay, but my purchase history has disappeared so I can’t do this. Can anyone help?

Presuming you didnt buy as a guest where you will need to open a dispute in payapl (which you can do if ebay route fails you)
Try Help&Contact (top of page) scroll down a little from the search bar your purchases may show there.
You may also have sucess with the resolution center (bottom of page)
