INTERNET SECURITY NOT COVERED BY EBAY MONEY BACK GUARANTEE

Recently I bought internet security from a seller who sent me a key number but no disk.

The key was an already used one so I contacted the seller who ignored several messages, forcing me to ask eBay to step in.

I was told they do not cover this sort of product so I was left out of pocket and completely disillusioned with eBay's money-back guarantee.

I will now check before buying on eBay just in case they don't cover other items

As you treat this a serious matter and even blame eBay - why not leave feedback to reflect your experience and to warn others?

as a result of the poor cover offered by eBay, I just bought a battery charger on ebid. I haven't used ebid before but the charger was £20 cheaper than the identical one on eBay so I got my money back from the internet security code that didn't work without eBay's help 🙂

But the negative feedback is not showing so presumably did not work or taken down for rule breach

I had given positive feedback then followed up with my warning to my fellow ebayers. if the follow up is not there then possibly eBay don't want me to warn people
