I can't open the case

Hi everybody!

I hope you can help me... I bought some stuff on ebay and it never arrived. The sellers first said it's because of covid, but it has been few months and I still didn't get my order. They told me to open a case, but when I'm trying to select an item to report and paste order number, I get this information:

We’re sorry, but there are no items that match your search.

Please try again.

I can see the items in my purchase history. Why isn't it possible to report it?

I'll be super thankful for your help.

BR,

Gabriela

If you want to open an eBay case in relation to an item then you only get thirty days to do so.  If you leave it any longer than this then you'll run out of time to do so.

Given that you've left it too late to open an eBay case in relation to this transaction try opening an Item Not Received case against the seller via PayPal.  Unlike eBay, PayPal give buyers one hundred and eighty days to open a case and they also look at cases in far more detail than eBay do.  Just make sure that you escalate the case to PayPal after two days and no later than the twenty day cut-off point.  If you follow these instructions then you should be able to get a 100% refund of the money that you paid for the item.

Even though you're registered in Poland this should not present a problem with regards to seeking help via PayPal.  Although you posted your query on eBay's UK site I can tell you that PayPal offer Polish users full access to their range of services.  Polish accounts do not have any PayPal restrictions on them, so the advice relating to pursuing a case via PayPal is just as relevant to a person living in Poland as it is to a person who lives in the UK.

You're in Poland, and this is the UK site. Log out and back into your home site (which will be ebay.com if there isn't one dedicated to your country), and use the Help pages and forums over there when you have problems. We can't help you as we can only provide advice for UK buyers, due to consumer laws varying from country to country. All I can tell you is that you're waaaaay out of time for Ebay to help, but you may still be in time to lodge a claim with PayPal or your card provider.
