How to pay on a Collection Only item

*Not too sure my original post appeared.

I'm currently winning a 'Collection Only' item. If I do win the auction which is the best way to pay ?

Do I pay by Paypal before collection.

Do I pay cash when collecting ?

Which is the best way to do this ?

I really do need advice on this.

Cash on collection is best.

You can inspect item & if happy pay.

Thanks for a swift reply. Much appreciated. The item is a new, still boxed, and still in wood crate it was shipped in (a cast iron fire/stove) I'll maybe have to take my own crow bar ?

You absolutely need to inspect every inch of that item, if chinese they are a lot thinner than others, and if any make has been mishandled in transit there can be fatal damage.

To be honest if it is chinese I would stop bidding and read reviews on google about better models.

P.S. Best time to buy is middle of summer its a buyers market then, and its a better time to get the chimney lined.

I've messaged the seller. Asking them that should I have the winning bid, can I have the box open and ready for inspection.
I haven't bought anything like this before.
