Complain about item

Dear eBay team,

I would like to make a consoling about an item I have bought  !

I have bout a car battery with 5 years warranty, I texted the seller twice as the battery was faulty since I bought it and he asked to send him pic of the battery which I did. I didn't hear anything back from him and I want to return the battery and have my money back, the battery was fault since I bought it and I have texted him few months ago,

Neither eBay nor Paypal offer guarantees that items will be fit for purpose months down the line,  just that they are as described on receipt,  if not you have 30 days,  under eBay's MBG policy to claim for a full refund.

If this was bought from a Private seller you have no comeback for any refund.

If you bought this from a registered UK business who offered a 5 year warranty,  then Trading Standards,  and Citizens Advice are your next steps,  if you wish to take this further.
