This is my first time posting and would welcome other sellers views ... It concerns me that buyers are allowed to leave untrue feedback and get away with it ...
I have a very good feedback generally recently 2 incidents ..Firstly a lady bought 3 cushion covers I am based in UK and she is in USA.. I dont ship inners as it is expensive the listings state that you are bidding on one cushion cover.she bought 3 .. she expected covers and insert to which I apologised for her misunderstanding and despite that offerred her a £15.00 refund as a gesture of good will. She declined and wanted £40.00 plus her postage refunded. I declined and then she reduced the amount to £25.00 plus postage returned again I declined and offerred for her to return the goods and she would get a refund. She did not return the goods and left me negative feed back. She had also bought a summer top and left me neutral feedback claiming my communication was not good... originally I combined the shipping for the top and the cushions so she did not pay extra. As she is unhappy with the cushion covers she proceeded to leave neutral feedback for the top. Ebay have several time failed to do anything despite numerous message supporting what I have said above .. I think that is awful..... as the feedback is not true
below is feedback
Buyer: (private) £165.00 Verified purchase | Past 6 months |
My second scenareo is someone buying a cushion cover which is made by designers and their fabric .. they were happy to buy it then decided that it was expensive and no communication to return or anything just proceeded to leave a neutral feedback .. surely if you dont like the price or cannot afford it dont buy it ..?? again ebay failed to do anything about it this cannot be right ... here is that one too ..

The feedback would be hard to remove because of how they worded it. I wouldn’t worry about it too much it shouldn’t be too damaging to your account, just frustrating.
You mention in the descriptions that inserts are available in your shop but it is fairly low down, every now and again a buyer is going to miss it and go off the photo which has the insert. Maybe you could do more to fix that by showing the cover only, flat, in picture 1 and highlight it in the description a bit higher up. Just an idea on that, are you able to add a variation to the listing where the buyer can choose a with or without insert price? I think that would be a good way to go here moving forward.

unfortunately the neg is too old to get dealt with.

The neutrals are just nippy and anyone reading them will think that. The neg - I got the idea that this was either a competitor or someone likely to give lots of negs. On my phone at least, it was very hard to even find the neg and neutrals, just lots of lovely comments from satisfied customers.
Anyway, a year goes very quickly and they only show on your figures for that time. I would though have a couple of goes to get the neg removed.
