Royal Mail Delays

Anyone else experienced any Royal Mail delays over the last couple of weeks?  

All of a sudden I have six items that have not been delivered, so 6 cases opened against me.  

All items posted around the end of March, From the Leeds area.   To all over the Country.

Yes.  Delays on 2nd Class are increasing, some items are taking a couple of weeks to arrive - one packet took over three weeks to arrive.

I'm getting messages, and fortunately the buyers are prepared to wait.  RM did seem to have improved, but they've now lost the plot again on 2nd Class.

I'm reluctant to increase prices and send everything T24/48, but it's coming to the point where I may have to.  I guess that's RM's game plan.

I sent my passport to the passport office when renewing, I used 48 hour tracked and it was delivered 9 days later. Today I was advised that an item ordered on Ebay was out for delivery today, I received an e-mail saying not delivered as no-one at home. I saw the postman in my street, he never came near my door. RM is becoming less reliable than the much maligned Evri.

I've got a RM48 Tracked due to me. So far the tracking says out for delivery today (Wednesday) then out for delivery today (Thursday). Now it's Friday and it still says out for delivery for Thursday.

Speaking to my local sorting office peeps, it seems to be localized problems, some areas are great, some are hideously understaffed, but yeah if you do parcels and buy postage online change up to tracked 48 for a better chance of it getting there
