Hi

I'm trying to submit the 2023-4 assessment but when I try to do the simplified version as I have in the past, it just takes me back to sign in page every time.

I have always just added the 'business income' and the 'profit or loss' with no problem.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Thanks

You really need to ask HMRC sound like a log in loop to me.

Ebay cannot help with this.

Try different browsers removing history and so on you know the usual stuff beyond that eBay members cannot really assist further.

@robdeb2861 are you referring to the custom eBay reports ?

No, I'm trying to submit the self assessment.

I have a spreadsheet I use for all sales, cost of goods, expenses, Ebay fees etc and have entered the figures in the boxes mentioned above with no error message but takes me back to the sign in page.

I'm going to try again as it's stressing me out!

You need to ask HMRC for help, that's not an ebay problem.

This is the message that's coming up on top of the page:-

Please ensure you disallow any element of expenditure which relates to personal use and was not incurred wholly and exclusively for the business

but my figures are correct!

My total costs are 60% and my profit is 40%

I'm delighted to say it submitted successfully today - it must have been a glitch - phew!
