All items roll over and list automatically so you must have used your 250 listing quota already. You need to end listings before they roll over if you don’t want to be charged and have used your monthly quota.

In which case you will know that being charged fees incorrectly is extremely rare and when it happens only ebay can sort it out.

Did the auto-relisted item originally have any additional fees when first listed (subtitle for example)?

I assume you are aware that eBay recently introduced an International Site Visibility fee (25p for Fixed Price listings. For auction-style listings the fee depends on the start price: 4p for start price less than £5, 8p for start price from £5 to £29.99 and 13p for start price of £30 or more) - could it be that?

Failing the above I think a little more information is required: Item number might help, the price for which it was relisted, the amount you were charged, that sort of thing - basically anything which would give a few clues as to where to start...

I'm busy compiling a list of items that I've been charged are fee for in this account.

I too have 250 listings, generally under 150 items on sale.  I almost never let items auto relist and usually end and 'sell similar' often twice in a month to use up listings available.

I do get relist fees as I sell some items in two categories.  But I had a load of relist charges in December, checking them I noticed one item has a relist fee every time I relist, back to at least October - 6 times I've found so far.  Various times of the month too, no way all my listings are used up by the 6th when I've ended and relisted (ss) manually the bulk of my items on the last day of the previous month.

It's not listed in two categories, has only been listed as BIN and I can't figure out why, hence compiling a list.

If you contact eBay to query yours, I would be most interested in hearing what they say.  Likewise, I'll let you know what happens my end, even if I figure it's something unusual I've done and therefore correct.

Charged an insertion fee wrongly.

Well, this week I've had two buyers who couldn't make an offer, one that couldn't accept an offer and one that couldn't pay.  Something isn't working!

Accepting offers means that I have to wait for payment, so for combined postage often as not I have to refund, which means explaining that I can't refund until after item is posted - one person even asked if I was scamming her, though difficult to think how slightly delaying refunding and still saving her money makes me a scammer.  But she is now on my blocked list as I'm an old lady and old lady have standards!

And now I have to put all our shops one holiday because eBay doesn't acknowledge the Scottish Bank Holiday on 2nd January - though not nearly as tiresome as when New Year's day is on a Friday and the 2nd holiday is on the following Monday!  One year someone asked me to simply post in England - dunno why I didn't think of that, except its a 120 mile round trip to Berwick

and even a bank holiday for the self employed!  She went on my blocked list too - standards, you see!

Suppose I should be grateful I don't have thousands of customers trying to pay and not succeeding.

Here here! Very rude response to someone trying to help. I’ve been a seller on eBay long before 2007!
