sending via venue

when sending via venue do members send via first class the day before someones performing to arrive on the day of performance or send a bit earlier and hope the venue holds on to the mail? also what would you put on the envelope? for instance would you address it lets say

liam gallagher (oasis)
venue address

etc

I usually send 4 days before the event is going to take place and write on the front of the envelope ' please hold this until (date of event/concert here) and then kindly pass it on' has worked all the time ive sent via venue. good luck if your trying liam gallagher i've failed every time ive tried him vv so fingers crossed you get a reply 🙂

We've sent a couple of days before and put who we're sending to and c/o venue address not been very successful at this though I'm afraid only had a couple of replies one was the Hammersmith Palace the failures have been Sheperds Bush O2...

I have a TTM request out at the moment to a theatre in Brooklyn N.Y. trying to track down a couple of musicians.  My letter should be with the venue by the end of this week, and they are due to perform on Wednesday of the following week.   I will let you know how things develop.

Like Matt, I send my requests VV so it gets to the venue 2/3 days beforehand and write the artists name and date they are due at the venue and write on the envelope to kindly forward.
