Wednesday In Person

Nice to bump into Alan again who was ahead of me in the queue. We had a few jars afterwards, even though I was only going to stay for one (oops).

To be honest, I was not sure it would be possible to go to this signing until the last possible moment. The signing was at 4pm, but with his fantastic successes in the last couple of years it was always worth getting there early, although I was a bit later than I meant to be. I joined the queue at about 12:15 and was number 122. They capped it quite early at 250 and sent many people away disappointed. It does surprise me though why people would arrive for someone this famous at the time the signing is due to start, and be surprised they cannot get in. Met some nice people in the queue including a massive Murray fan from Aberdeen who flew down specially that morning and was flying back afterwards. That is dedication!

No chance of memorabilia or photos with, but happy to get the book signed, and get some kind of pic. Andy was very nice and shook hands with everyone.

Re: Wednesday In Person

Coles are selling signed copies for £49 for anyone interested, but they are bizarrely signed to the reverse end paper which means the back of the book! The copies signed in person to the title page on Wednesday look even better value now.
