Someone I have had replies from several times before, and easily Britains best ttmer -

Barbara Windsor, MBE - 6 days

I sent Babs her two rarest EE cards for signing- her first one, and the Butcher variant of what I call the waxworks card. The latter only ever surfaces with the facsimile signature pattern as it was while she was ill, and even blank cards are hard to find.

Unfortunately the first card got smudged, but I cannot clean it and resend as their is a faint imprint under the smudged signature. Fortunately you can still see who signed it, so not all bad. I will have to wait for another to surface - this one cost me £9.99 as part of a bundle of 6 unsigned cards of which I only needed 2. She also kindly sent me another of her last cards signed ( I have a few of these), and a nice signed photo of her own. Not one I had before, but I have seen others get it.

Babs will always be one of my favourite entertainers. A true British legend.

excellent reply that Nigel, shame the first one smudged, seems to always happen that whenever sending to her one gets smudged, happened to me many times, hope you manage to find a replacement anyway 🙂
