VERY Excited!!!

Hi guys,

Got a great one back today!  I have recently become a big fan of the show "Miranda" and have written to each main actor.  Today I got a reply from actor James Holmes who plays Clive in the show.
Normally I would expect to get a signed photo, but not this time.  I opened the envelope, looked inside and saw what looked like a tatty bit of yellow paper which I thought very strange.  I took the paper out, unfolded it and on one side was a nice message from James and on the other side some typed text...I am so chuffed as it is only a page from the scripts the use on the show!  I have always hoped to get something like this but have never dared to ask, personally I do like to get a signed picture but this is a real bonus. As far as getting a signed pic I will see if I can catch him when he comes to Hull Theatre this year.  Something a bit different to the norm but a totally welcomed bit of difference.

I have been grinning all day about this one. I personally would never ask for something like this, you never know, the actor may want to keep it for themselves.
I showed Jody my daughter it who has a bit of an interest in collecting and a huge interest in Miranda series and she was so excited!  She read the page of script over and over - got to the point where I had to take it from her lol.  The best thing is, I recognise the lines from one of the episodes!

Memorabillia....hey I never thought of it that way! NICE ONE!!
I wish I could frame it....but it is double sided now James wrote on the back.  I think this will have to go in my plastic pocket file with the others.

It is something that happens quite a bit in ttm collecting, and I have seen many people get replies like this (especially soaps, tv shows, etc), but have only had it once myself. I think it's cool when someone takes the trouble to send a reply like this.
