A good start to the week. Last week was a strange one - no time for writing requests or to get to any charity shops. Made up for it with two cracking finds yesterday - both dual signed books. They can wait until the weekend. Today's post brought two very pleasing replies.

Giusuppe Sannino - 24 days via Watford FC

Pleased as punch he signed my 8x5 card (#238). These are rare for me lately. I hope some of the players start signing. I did not expect Zola to go so easily, and Beppe is a bit of an unknown in this country. On day one he said he would sort out the defence first, then look at the attacking options. So far he has been true to his word and the defence is vastly improved.

Bernard Cribbins, OBE - 42 days

I sent the Behind The Sofa book on it's first ttm trip, and Bernard kindly became the 9th person to sign it. Nice little book and a fun little project.

2 Great replies Nigel I was surprised Zola left as well 2-0 win last night too set up a tasty tie with Man city if they beat Blackburn tonight my friend is a season ticket holder at Watford so may manage too get a programme for you if they get Man City in the next round:)

Thanks Sy, I appreciate the offer, but I will not need the prog. I gave all thirty years of my programme collection to a charity shop when we moved here in 2007. Since then the only programmes I mainly bother with are the few games I attend, and any signed testimonials if they come my way.

I will be surprised if Man Cit do not progress, and think it is a great game for Watford. As long as Watford do not lose by more than 3 goals, they will be happy I think.
