Too Big!

I wrote to Alan Bennett earlier this year enclosing a copy of his large book, Untold Stories. I got this back today. At least the stamps are unfranked.

It is a big book, so I can understand the response. Shame though.

We have our letterbox taped up, so it cannot be used. When we first moved here the postie was trying to stuff all sorts of post through it that clearly did not fit, but he was determined to do so no matter what damage he did.

At least your book is back and im sure book plates must be easy enough too find i am sure the book collectors on here will point you in the right direction.

Shame about the book Suzanne, but as has been said possibly send a book plate or index card.
