Time to resurrect this thread for anything related to autographed books. I'll kick off with a purchase today -
Born Wild HB 1st by Tony Fitzjohn, OBE
Tony's new book has recently been released and we picked up a signed HB 1st at half price in a British Bookshops & Stationers promotion. Very pleased as Kelly and I were only saying the other day it looked a book we would both enjoy.

Thanks to my friend Louise who very kindly gave me a signed Jo Nesbo paperback which is most appreciated. A lovely gift - thank you.
Definitely a good time of year to check Waterstones bargain bins as they make space for the glut of books released for the Winter market. I had two very good finds - one yesterday and one today.
Yesterday I spent lunchtime mooching around Waterstones Piccadilly. They have a bargain bin on each floor. Not much of interest among the new releases, but was over the moon with a find in a bargain bin for only £6.99. Better still I used £6.21 Waterstones card points so only paid 78p. 🙂 Awesome bargain.
Thank Heaven HB 1/1 2009 by Leslie Caron
Today, while buying Gazza's book ahead of his signing, the bargain bin at Canary Wharf gave up Viv Anderson for £9.99. A nice bonus with this - as well as the signed book, inside was a signed bookmark also. 🙂

Awesome Julie Andrews find Alex - brilliant to see. Once in a while you can find a true gem in those shops. They must have found some old stock at your Works and put it out as it has been on the shelves at my Works for many months but just unsigned copies. I am sure you would have found it before now otherwise. 🙂 I found my Gary Pallister book like that. For months they had unsigned copies of the books, then they put a couple of leftovers from the back out for £1.99 and one was signed.
The Works are alive with the sound of music. I'll get my coat. 🙂

Time to check your Asda again. 🙂 The missus is fuming. She banned me from going to charity shops and book shops today. She asked me to have a weekend away from the book shops, and just go to Asda. I obliged, but ........
£10 in Asda. They only had two copies of the book on the shelf, and the back one was this signed one.

Some more fantastic finds but the Julie Andrews one has to be my favourite. There's never anything like those found today in the shops in my area. Hurumph! 😞
