I wrote to ex Chelsea hard man and legend Ron 'Chopper' Harris via Chelsea to get my cards signed. Ron played 655 games for Chelsea between 1961-1980 and was renown for his tough tackling.If he was playing today,Ron would probably be lucky to stay on for the full 90 minutes!

Super reply.  I met him a few years ago and was surprised at just how 'diminutive' he was - certainly not as fearsome as his reputation suggested - mind you I didn't chase after 50/50 ball with him!
