No football once again today, Stanley's pitch was sat under 6 inch of water  at one end at 8.30 AM today.

Blackburn Rovers also postponed....Local town of Whalley down the road is a foot under water as is Padiham Nr Burnley, Very heavy rain here the last 24 hours...

My thoughts have been with the north these last few weeks. Will it ever stop raining?

You have certainly had it rough up North with weather this year. That's such a shame to see flooding like that. I hope it clears soon, and stays away, so things can get back to normal.

Shame about all the games called off. You could always hire the ground out for Water Polo!!! Man Very Happy

Just seen some pictures from York. It's mind blowing how fast some of the areas are flooding so badly. I hope everyone on here and their families are ok.

One bright spot for you Alex. Accy in a great position with their games in hand.

We have friends in the Calder Valley and their garden is completely under water, basement fully flooded and a fair bt in the house too. Must be awful and will take a long time to put right, but perhaps never to forget and be ablwe to live without the worry of a repeat.
