Had the 2nd of my three nights at the 100 Club tonight for this year's Resolution festival. Third tomorrow. They have put on 10 nights, but I could only manage 3. Was not really my intention to go seeking graffs at these gigs, but I love 999, so took the opportunity to get a cd signed by Nick Cash who was doing a solo set as Arturo is having hip replacement surgery. He was a little relucatant, but gave in to my charm. These guys are celebrating 40 years on the road as are Chelsea who headlined tonight. Tonight was a night for the older generation. Last night was more energetic and fun with Borrowed Time, Louise Distras and GBH. It was a belter of a night out. Cannot wait for UK Subs and Menace tomorrow. I have been putting pics up of the different performers on Facebook.

nice result Nigel, glad you are having fun at the festival.  How was Louise Distras? I know you were looking forward to seeing her again

Louise was excellent again. She drew a bigger crowd than the same time last year, and was well received.

Glad you're managing to get to these gigs, Nigel and well done grabbing the odd sig or two.

How the music scene has changed...a band member can't make the show because of  hip replacement surgery. Rock and roll! Smiley Very Happy It's great to see these bands still bringing in the crowds though.

Never stopped seeing bands like these. It's just a bonus that people have woken up to the fact it is the 40th anniversary of punk, so there are a few extra opportunities. These 100 Club gigs are cheap, which is the only reason I could make 3 nights.

Thanks all. I had a great time at the three nights I went to. The festival is still going on this week. Nothing ese now until SLF in March, and the Damned's 40th aniversary smash up of the RAH in May (day before my 50th so double trouble).

I'm connected with a few on here va Facebook. If anyone else wants to friend me on Facebook, give me a shout.

A great result for you Nigel.  You would get on well with my brother as he is in to all this type of music.  One of these days we will get to the 100 club but whenever we are in the big smoke no one is on!
