My New Year Speech...

My New Year speech (although slightly early).

Well I hope everyone has had a good Christmas and have enjoyed themselves to the fullest.

I just wanted to thank everyone for making me welcome on this forum,  for being a great help, and for making it a wonderful community, after all, it would be very lonely on here without you all.
I do not want to pick out anyone in particular, I dont think I need to really but I would like to thank everyone for the generousity shown be it through advice, help and even by sending gifts to myself and everyone. 
It really amazed me to see the gifts that do actually get passed around and not even with asking for postage to be paid.  I wish I could be as generous but my collection is small and I dont really have too many extra signatures that I could pass on, I wish I could contribute to someones collection, not for praise or glory but simply to return the kindness I have been given myself - I often feel like I am taking but not giving so I hope it is not looked at that way.
I have been collecting just over a year now and it has been a wonderful year in your company and I feel that I am blessed and very lucky to know you all the way I do.
I have had several wonderful gifts, a signed book for myself,  a couple of signed index cards and more but the ones that matter the most to me are a signed JLS book and an autograph from "Peppa Pig" (not a real sig but thats not the point) - My heart jumped when my daughters got these presents, the pleasure they showed when realising what they were far outweighed any pleasure I have had getting my own autographs.  I can tell you that these 2 items in particular are treasured and not many people get their hands on them I can assure you that! They are so treasured my daughters barely touch them for fear of spoiling them, they are kept away safely, remembered and looked at once in a while - I very much doubt they will ever part with them.
The one person responsible for both of these items knows who he is and I hope he also knows what he did meant as much to me as it did the kids.  Thank you, and thank you one and all.

Now....in the words of Vinny jones...."Its been emotional".

No, but in all seriousness i too , like you have received friendship that has been boundless. Friends that have been there when i needed them, no matter what time of day or night.

Having this place to come and have a chat is like having our own little piece of heaven:) Big thanks go out to Daz and the MODS for seeing it through. For a while there when e bay decided to mess things up, i thought it would be the end of our forum, but no! Daz and the guys got us through it and those of us that love this great forum are still here:)

Here's to a better year next year, for me anyway.

Nice words Steve and I agree, the generosity shown on this forum is quite something.
I'd also like to second Paul's comments regarding the work Daz and all the MOD's do. Despite the upheaval, they got us through the changes made by ebay.

Nice one Steve. Like you, I too have been the recipient of a gift from a member of this forum. Like you, I have only been on here for approx one year and everyone has been great. You are a great bunch of people and lets hope that we carry on where we have finished this year, getting autographs and having a great time on this forum. Thanks to all. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

a speech worthy of churchill mate:-) appreciated too,i started the group to help others in gaining the rewards of ttm collecting,i have a passion for it,and i will help anybody that helps themselves:-) we have a great meeting place here,for like minded people to communicate there common intrest,and long may it continue,i would like to say thankyou to all the main contributors of the forum,who have the same passion as me about autographs,as without you,this forum would probably not be here today,thankyou to my mods too,who have helped me keep the group active,and who have put up with my rants throughout the year:-)
