Sometimes the letters you get with the replies are just as good as getting your items signed,but this one was a little bit different.
I sent two stickers to Leroy Chambers who played in the league in the early 90s with Chester and Macclesfield.It seems he was just as pleased to receive my letter as he had never been able to show his sons the football card of himself until I tracked him down!
My next was slightly different.I sent some cards to Gordon Taylor at the PFA in July (just before his gambling hit the papers) and I didn't expect a reply.It seems however that he misplaced my cards and sent me an A4 picture signed by him apologising for losing the cards.I will have to try to get a couple of them and try him again.
After the English PFA,I also got a reply from an Aussie at the Scottish PFA.

Next up,I decided to get a few of my Derby sets completed by writing to a few players again to get my cards signed
