sent: lor, s.a.s.e an england name and number shirt and a captains armband to John on 3/1/14, and received both back signed today although the shirt has been ruined by a staff member dedicating it as opposed to John himself doing it

Great reply Matt his autograph is getting worse every year I see it ,I must put up some of his very early autographs pre 2000 you could actually read it as John Terry.

Bad news about the sec ded. I get it with photos and cards - they are ten a penny on eBay, but don't ruin a shirt. Send it back unsigned if it is that much of an issue. At least the armband survived unscathed, so well done.

am sure the reason is they know it takes the value out of the sig they think every body just get sigs to sell on e bay ITS VERY ANNOYING. Terry must have the worst sig any were .

#12 not without ruining the shirt no which is annoying, dont mind dedications but when someone else does them and it cant be rubbed like a pic it spoils things

Is the ded definitely a sec?  I got a reply from him about 12 years and the writting is the same.  Unless the same secetary has been there all that time?

#15 probably the same sec as ive had stuff dedicated in person from him its never been that neat looks possibly like female's writing too as its quite neat John's isnt even close to that so thats how i know its sec and its also in a different pen this looks like a biro

Real shame about the sec dedication Matt. Not sure why players like John are so worried about items being sold on ebay, its not as if he is living on bread and water
