Jimmy Hill reply

Wrote to Jimmy Hill last week and got my card back signed from Jimmy.

Jimmy played for Fulham and Brentford and was in charge of the PFA when the maximum wage was abolished.

He later managed Coventry,(changing their colours to sky blue) and in 1972 replaced the linesman who had got injured in the Arsenal v Liverpool at Highbury as also a qualified referee.

He moved into brodcasting in 1967 after leaving Coventry and was with Match of the Day for many years.
