International Reply Coupons

I have just reported the demise of International Reply coupons for Autograph News UK and thought members of this forum may be interested in same.  I think we may have touched on this before, but it appears that Royal Mail have definately stopped producing IRC's - a must for TTM's sent abroad.  According to their website they went 'off-sale' on 18/2/2012 and the last batch have an expiry date of 31/12/2013 - so it is worth being very carefull in how you use your remainders.  It's a real blow and I have e-mailed them (I didn't think it was worth writing!) asking if there are any alternatives for return postage for foreign requests.

yeah they went out in Feb due to lack if interest apparently as I bought one or 2 but what the post office did tell me was that if I bought some say from france they would still be valid to use and send from here to then be used as return postage so looks like that or sending money is the way forward for us 🙂

I've used them on and off over the years, but have always preferred stamps if possible Literally used my last two on the recent Gerard Depardieu success, so that works out well if they are coming to an end. They are a rip off price. I think they got hiked from something like 95p to £1.40 or something over a year ago, and are only worth a little over half that.

I felt they were grossly over priced anyway and usually send dollars cash now to cover postage.  Some you get back, others you don't.
