I managed to get all the 18 Rotherham players to sign
yesterday's match day programme along with manager Ronnie Moore and there gaol keeping coach Andy Dibble who had a great career playing for Glasgow Rangers and Accrington Stanley amongst others. I also got signed cards from these 2 and League 2's top scorer Adam Le Fondra who is Rotherham's NO 10.
Knowing that we had signed a player from Burnley, Kevi Long, on loan for a month and that he would be in the starting line up for the game I took the multi signed Stanley away shirt to the game for him to sign, I got there 30 mins before kick off, signalled him out during the pre match warm up, Waited for him to leave the putch 10 mins before kick off and caught his attention, I welcomed him to Accrington and politely asked him to sign the shirt which he did, Nice one....Now........after 19 minutes and Stanley already up 1-0 Kevin Long has a tussle with Adam Le Fondra it starts outside the penalty area and as Le fondra goes over the white line into the penalty area he goes down like a sack of spuds the ref blows the whistle, a penalty is given and our new signing gets a red card, that will be a 3 match ban and his month with us will be up, he won't kick another ball for us. Is this the curse of Alex taking a twist?
I added Alan Barton's name to a reserve team sheet game already signed by Man Utd's Richie De Laet. Zak Riley will be added to this when I catch up with him.
I also added Stanley players Andy Procter, Andy Parkinson and Charlie Barnett to pic's in the programme.
I must also thank Rotherham's winning goal scorer and captain Ryan Cresswell for helpng me ut after the game. FIFI's drug's test unit turned up at the game , they visit a ground every week end and could be anywhere in the world, Yesterday was our turn and two players from each squad are randomly picked and a urine sample is taken from each player, they are not allowed to drink until the sample is taken, and in front of the FIFA officials, No 7 for Rotherham Nicky Law was one of the players picked. by 6.10 he still had not produced a sample, the rest of the Rotherham players had been sat on the coach for 45 mins by now, The Captain came back into the ground and asked me where the firat aid room was where the tests were being carried out, I shown Ryan Cresswell where to go and he asked if I was waiting for Nicky Law to sign my programme, "Yes" I said, He took the programme with hm and reappeared about 5 mins later with my programme signed but minus Nicky Law...he still hadn't produced a sample. I thanked him for helping me out and went on my way..The Coach finally left at aound 6 25pm..talk about taking the piss..I bet he got plenty of ear ache all theway back to Rotherham.Sorry for rabitting on but had to share these incidents with you all....Now for some pic's.

Rob, It was a tall order playing with ten men for 75 mins,
Cresswell scored in the 2nd minute of time added on, So near yet so far, wasn't a bad game, plenty of action, Our keeper produced 2 fantastic saves to keep us in the game, Frst defeat at home that.
