OK, techno-phobe here. Can anyone tell me how to insert pics in a thread here? I have .jpeg files. I do have a photobucket account but haven't used it for so long I forget how to access it! If there's some way of putting pics straight in a post, that'd be great.
Thanks,
Caroline 🙂

Forgot to say, I did open up an "album" or something like that here when I first joined ages ago - can't recall how I did that either! Can I put pics in here by putting them in this album? I think it was called "Caroline's pics" or something like that. My IP John Hurt from last year should be in it.

Testing the paper clip attachment icon for you, so you do not have to worry about hosting images anywhere. You should be able to attach two images to any post with this. I will try one embedded as medium size, and one as large.

To do the same as me, simply reply or start a new thread, click the paperclip icon, choose Image, browse for the image on your pc, choose what size image to display embedded in the post, click Add, then Post.
You can only attach up to two images in any one post.
If you host your own images on the web, or use a photo site, you can link to more in a post, but the above is probably the easiest.

The image you see in the post is just a small embedded version. Now click where it says attachment and it will reveal a filename. Click on the filename to see the full size image. Hey presto, nice shiny image. 🙂

Ah, that's better! Thanks, Nigel.
But I might not be on here for a little while again now - we're preparing for two new additions to the family (four legged, furry ones that purr :-x). Be back when I've got my little friends settled in ...
