That photo Jess got yesterday of Brad Paisley has been signed in Silver pen .....which is still a bit wet which is a wonder it didnt rub off in the envelope! Is there anything I can do to set it?

Daz..thanks for replying..well I went to shift it last night and I caught the B and it was wet!! so daren't touch anything else to test it it's as though I could just wipe it all off?????? it must have been the photo ???? he signed th eother things in Blue which is fine I know why he used silver it's because we sent a dark photo bless him! We will send another at a later date but just wanted to stop this getting any worse...perhaps I should shove it in a frame quick...ha ha

Was it one of those horrible paint pens? Maybe a thick stroke or point could leave a thin skin with a smattering of wet paint ink underneath? Could it also be due to heat near the photo?

yes,its one of those silver paint pens,ive had a few replies with those,dreadfull invention:-( they dont seem to ever harden jane,they stay soft in the centre,so you have to be carefull with them

Thanks guys for your replies I think it must be a paint pen..yes! our fault for sending such a dark photo...lesson learnt 😞 I think I'll shove it in a frame and resend another request...you never know!

can't help I'm afraid. I had this happen to me a couple of times so now whenever I send a dark photo I include a silver sharpie and not had the same trouble with those

Thanks for your help..I've emailed to see if we can send another photo will try again in a few months 🙂 but I think we will get some silver sharpies and include them next time....I need some gold sharpies so will pick some up when we're in the US...
