Two great replies today.

Gabriele Angella - 7 days c/o Watford

Yep, I actually got a reply from a current Watford player, and quickly! I hope this bodes well for a better season of replies. A former Italian U21 player, Gabriele has been awesome since signing a 5 year deal. 6ft3 central defender who is comfrtable on the ball and has good distribution. He is also dangerous from set pieces, and has already scored three goals in three games. He kindly signed one of my 8x5 inch Watford cards - #236.

Tony Osoba - 24 days

Tony is a great actor who has had some great roles over the years. He kindly signed all three  4x6 photos I sent and my record card, plus kindly sent his own signed photo plus wrote a great signed note on the bottom of my letter. Most of us on here of the age group that loved Porridge and will remember Tony well from that, plus he appeared in two Doctor Who stories.

I remember Tony - mainly from Dempsey and Makepeace - fantastic cards and a nice note. Hope this is the first of many Watford replies this season Nigel - maybe they have got someone different in the mail room.

Cracking reply from Tony Osoba. There's a brave man to appear on national tv in that wig. Porridge is a brilliant series and still holds up today.

Well done Nigel it's good to see a reply from Watford I hope I get one or two from Celtic this season and a fantastic reply from Tony Osoba . He came from Maryhill in Glasgow the same area that I was brrought up in .
