I thought this was a non reply as it did not come back when she was over on tour as the book was heavy. Chuffed to get a reply even if not on my item, but equally bemused at how much it has cost them to send my book back unsigned.  🙂

Dolly Parton - 67 days c/o Odyssey Arena Belfast via Nashville 🙂

I sent Dolly a USA HB 1st of her bio plus a pic of my dad with her when we met her in person a little over 9 years ago. I had asked for the pic to be dedicated to my father.

This morning's post brought a large heavyweight jiffy envelope from the USA. When I checked the postmark I saw it was Nashville, so was hopeful. Sadly the book and pic were not signed. However, also inside was a sealed rigid board envelope. I opened it to find a signed/dedicated 8x10 of Dolly. I was gobsmacked when I saw they had spent $20.34 to send everything to me!!!

I think it looks good. It compares well with my in person signed cd. Very pleased to get any kind of reply when I thought the chance had gone.

Well done Nigel great result shame the book was not signed considering the amount of postage too send it back from the states would have been just as easy to get her too sign the book and photo unlucky mate .

Brilliant that Nigel and very kind of them to pay the postage, shame she didnt sign your book but its still a nice pic and you dont see many replies from her either so extra special 🙂
