I sent two of my own cards and an index card to Murdo MacLeod at BBC Radio Scotland two weeks ago , I got everything back signed today .
Murdo signed for Celtic in November 1978 he went on to play 394 games and score 81 goals for the Hoops many of his goals were scored with his rocket shot from either foot it was once said it could split granite . He won 4 league championship winners medals , 2 Scottish Cups and 1 League Cup . Murdo left Celtic for Borussia Dortmund in July 1987 .
Murdo MacLeod returned to Celtic Park in 1997 as assistant to Vim Jansen with the task of stopping Rangers winning 10 League titles in a row Celtic won the title on the last day of the season in a nervous but never to be forgotten game against St Johnstone
sadly both Murdo and Vim left Celtic soon after that game .
