Looks like I should be able to get there on the Saturday, so look forward to possibly meeting up with Jamie and Stuart, plus anyone else going.

I have never been to this event, so any advice for travel, getting tickets for queues, etc would be welcome. I will be getting the train to MK Central, so assume the best way to get there is with the bus service to the stadium. Are there any recommended taxi numbers? I am thinking of getting a cab back to the station with my booty afterwards.

Mainly after a few footy guests and Malcolm McDowell.

Hi Nigel

Glad you are able to make the saturday. I will be there on all 3 days, local to me. I will send you my mobile number via the message board and you can give me a call when you arrive.

  As to getting to the stadium. I'm not sure, but I think there may be free bus from the station to the stadium. Have to check that.

   There are a couple of local taxi firms you can use:

SKYLINE - 01908 222111

RAFFLES - 01908 222222

Also the Doubletree hotel at the front of the stadium will be able to help if no luck with those two.

  There looks like there are two buses that run from the station to Mount Farm (which is opposite the stadium), No's 32 & 150.

    Food wise, they have outlets inside the arena that sell burgers, sausage rolls etc, hot and cold drinks, and snacks . Also outside there is an ASDA store next to the stadium, McDonalds and KFC.

I can do that Daz. I think he is charging about £20. He will have a number of stills with him, but did you have one in particular you wanted signed?

thanks nigel,very kind of you,,if you could pick a good quality colour pic from caligula,and  if he can sign it undedicated   as not ttm,,so will be an investment piece 🙂 that would be super 🙂 tried him ttm many times and never had anything back,so this is an excellent opportunity for me to finally get him 🙂

He's one of the main reasons I am making the trip Daz. Most of the entertainment guests there are fair game ttm. Same as you - never managed to get him ttm. If there are no Caligula pics (I would think he will have them) are there any others you favour as backup options?

no mate,caligula or nothing 🙂 would be very surprised if he didnt have caligula ,one of his biggest films,,,never seen clockwork orange,so have no intrest in it:-) would  settle for black and white caligula pic,if there were  no colour ones:-)

Hope everyone going has a great weekend. I ended up preordering Geoff Hurst and Jimmy Greaves - adding them to my England shirt. I wish I could go as I would love to meet Hurst, Greaves, Banks and Big Jack. Was also going to get Gazza on the shirt (2nd try) but as everyone knows, he cancelled. I am going to be back home in July so I might try and go to the London Film and Comic Con - shame they dont have sports guests

Ta Jamie. Will be good to see you all. Wembley tickets arrived today, so that is part 1 of my weekend plan in place. Was surprised though - the ticket company used normal 1st class to send £135 worth of tickets!

I hope Jamie can help you Paul. I am only popping up on the Saturday and have limited time. I was annoyed by the pricing for Jenna-Louise as it will prevent many kids (and adults) from getting her autograph. I get she is popular but a large chunk of Doctor Who's audience is youngsters with less money than the adult fans. Not fair to alienate them. I am hoping that the rush to get her autograph from people with money will free up some of the other guests.
