Wrote to Mrs Mary Stopes Roe on tuesday asking if i could please send he my Dambusters photo for her to sign, the photo is already signed by George "Johnny" Johnson and Richard Todd. She sent me a nice letter back saying yes , please do send it, i would be proud to sign it 🙂 Mary is the daughter of Barnes Wallis, the inventor of the famous Bouncing Bomb:)

A wonderful result, really great and very different.

Oddly enough,  I cant remember how exactly but I am related to Barnes on my Grandmothers side....if I remember correctly he was a cousin of my Nanna.

Of course I never knew him as he died in 1979 I think so I was only 4 years old.

Great result, I look forward to seeing it completed.
