This one was a bit pricey but I think worth every penny( £40) Alex Jackson was one of the Wembley wizards of 1928 when Scotland came to Wembley and thumped England 5-1 with Jackson scoring a hat trick. He joined Chelsea in 1930 for a then record £8500 and had 2 years at the Blues. He was approached by French club Nimes with a mega wage offer but Chelsea refused to sell him so they held his registration forcing him to play for non league clubs Ashton under line and Margate! he later had a year with Nice and then Le Touquet but never achieved those dizzy heights of the late 1920's.He was killed in 1946 whilst serving in the Army in Eygpt in a road accident.
