Hi guys,

Just thought Id share this with you.

It has been 1 years as of yesterday that I started collecting. I spent a bit of time on placement at our local news paper office as a photographer where I first met Pete (Harbourart) and spent quite a bit of time going around with him and getting to know him a bit. One day I asked what he did out side of work, his reply was "I write letters". Strange, I thought so I asked to who? He went on to tell me how he has been collecting autographs from stars an celebrities for many years.  This intrigued me and I asked how he got addresses and so on.  Anyway over time he explained things, his methods, what he writes and so on - I thought it was fascinating so I gave it a go!
The first person I wrote to was Brian May, that letter turned out to be unsuccessful (I have his sig now though hehehe), the second was Willy Thorne and I have gone on to collect more and more.  Not only that but I have made some good friends on here, had some great results and replies (especially the phone call from Alison Hammond) and a few laughs on the way.
It has been a great year of collecting so.......

It has been, and hope it will continue to be, a pleasure.
