New item specifics requirements & tools

We’re adding new tools to help you identify and add missing item specifics and optimise your listings. There’s also some new item specifics requirements coming on 9 September 2020 in some categories.

Enhanced privacy for email addresses on the marketplace

Starting gradually from the end of August, sellers and buyers will no longer see each other’s email addresses. We’ll continue to convey direct email messages between sellers and buyers using email aliases.

Seller Hub is now available for eBay Ireland

We recently introduced Seller Hub on eBay in Ireland and your account will be automatically moved to Seller Hub from 16 September.

Changes to requirements for signature on delivery confirmation for eBay Money Back Guarantee 

From 19 October, the eBay Money Back Guarantee threshold for signature confirmation will move from item value to total order value. Ensuring you have signature confirmation will protect you against "item not received" requests.
