Due to the ongoing strike action by members of the CWU at Royal Mail and Parcelforce, disruption to deliveries is expected and Christmas last posting dates have been brought forward by Royal Mail. Please note, the last posting day for 2nd Class, 2nd Class Signed For, and Royal Mail 48 has now passed.

In a bid to reduce disruption, other carriers are also bringing forward their Christmas last posting dates. So, please check for the latest updates from any carriers you use to ensure your parcels are delivered on time.

Taking into account last posting dates and the strikes, many items are already showing post-Christmas estimated delivery dates. By opting to use faster, tracked services, this will enable items to show estimated delivery dates before Christmas, which could help to boost last-minute sales. Just remember to upload tracking information before the latest estimated delivery date.

We recommend using eBay delivery by Packlink where you can purchase Tracked labels at a discount. Or, non-account customers can use Royal Mail Tracked, which has a later last posting date, for the same price as untracked until January.

If you are using alternative carriers, please list with the exact service you are going to use where possible and refrain from listing with ‘Other’ carrier, like: ‘Other 48h’, ‘Other 3 days’, ‘Other 3-5 days’ or ‘Other 5 days’. These generic services will show post-Christmas estimated delivery dates to account for last posting dates.
