We’re aware that some sellers were incorrectly shown a dispatch date of Monday 26 August which should have been a bank holiday in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
For any transactions that have been impacted, eBay will automatically protect your seller performance on orders placed from 22 August to 27 August 2024, covering:
- Your late delivery rate
- Your “item not received” count in your service metrics dashboard
- Any negative and neutral feedback relating to or arising from late or non-delivery for affected orders during this period.
Please know that issues that are outside of your control will not affect your performance on eBay. Protections may take 7 to 14 days to be applied on your account meaning you do not need to contact Customer Service in the meantime.
For future bank holidays, we recommend adding a postcode to the item location in your listings to ensure accuracy in delivery estimates.
