Thanks very much for your really helpful reply. I am going to use the business listing tool from now on instead of the quick version. Top tip - I assumed that it was not available to me as a not too frequent seller! Cheers. Jo

Offers

I prefer not to use offers in my listings. However, if an unsold item is automatically relisted then eBay automatically applies best offer to the new listing. How can I ensure that this does not happen? Any advice/thoughts welcome. Thanks.

Are you listing with the Quick listing tool?

A while ago eBay have started automatically adding Offers if you list with that tool.

To stop Best Offer being added to your listing you must use the Business Listing tool, not the Quick Listing tool. Ignore any message that it is for business sellers or members with a high volume of listings. Anyone can use it. You have more control of your listing there and can deselect the Best Offer option.

For live listings, if you are on the new Seller Hub, you may be able to select the tick box next to all the listings you want to change from your active selling page, then scroll up to “Edit, and deselect “Best offer” there.

You may need to use a laptop/PC to switch tools, not the app.
