If you've opened an "Unpaid Item" case you have to close it after 4 complete days to get the fee refunded.

I opened a case because a buyer changed her mind and will not pay.The cost of an item was £165. Of course we both agreed that she does not have to pay but finallyI had to pay £16.49 to ebay Will I get the money back?Should I close the case or wait until ebay does it?If I relist the item ebay will take£16.50 again?Sorry Im confused.I do not sell often.

You must close the case, which you can do after four days if they haven't paid. For details, see: http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/sell/unpaid-items.html

Your final value fee (but no other fees) will then be credited back to your account and you can safely relist the item, or make a second chance offer. The buyer will receive an unpaid item strike from eBay. Neither party can leave feedback; any already left can be removed.

Always add non-payers to your blocked bidders list, see: https://offer.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?BidderBlockLogin
