How do you get eBay to stop overcharging fees?

I signed up for £1 max FVF, sold on ebay, then was charged a higher fee. Where is the helpdesk?

Most people who complain they were overcharged on promotional offers didn't read the full conditions and time limits properly.

I would advise re-reading these before trying to phone eBay, see Help & Contact above. You will have plenty of time before getting through to them!

Did you accept the offer before listing item,

does not apply to already listed items.

Go to promotional offers, where monthly allowance shows, click history & it will show if you listed item under offer.

These offers only apply to items listed AFTER you have accepted the offer, not sales of items listed BEFORE you accepted the offer.

I have never heard of ebay making a mistake about fees, so make 100% sure before wasting your time and ebay's time. All you have to do is read the T & C and ensure that your listing qualified.
