Question Re: Shop Categories in Selling on eBay DND

Shop Categories

Hello.

I just opened a shop and have a lot of existing listings.

I can't find any way of bulk editing to add existing listings to shop categories.

Do I really have to open each existing listing one by one to add them?

Although I haven't sold on eBay for a while now, to the best of my knowledge there is currently no function on eBay that would allow a seller to make changes to his/her listings and click on an "Apply To All Listings" button in the same way that you can if you were to choose to block certain countries from being able to bid on your listings. It would be useful if eBay were to introduce such an option for sellers to use when editing their listings, but then again when it comes to making site improvements that would be widely welcomed by the majority of users that option would be far too sensible for eBay's liking, so there is no chance whatsoever that eBay will actually implement it!

I've been doing a search in 'active listings' to pull out all the listings that I'd put in a certain category. Then doing a bulk edit on each batch. It's not super speedy... but it's faster than I was fearing when I asked the question 🙂
