Question Re: Price in Buying on eBay DND

I have just won an item for £13.50 plus £3.84 p+p. When I go to checkout, it says the cost is £16.20 plus £3.84 p+p. Never had this issue before and neither has seller, who is also at a loss as to how to resolve.

Even if buy on UK site, if seller is based in another country, usually China, you have to pay 20% VAT on top of price.

Thanks for your reply. Yes seller is based in Spain. Have requested to cancel order and I will be very careful in future to check out where sellers are based.
