Question Re: Safe Search Please in Buying on eBay DND

<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" />
Hey, thanks for the suggestion but I often delete my search history anyway. Nobody else uses my eBay and they certainly wouldn't be searching for these items. I'm just wondering if there is a safe search option as Google and bing etc have this. As often when I am searching for perfectly innocent items, it's misconstrued for dirty stuff which also appears in the list! Does this not bother anybody else? You'd think in this day and age there would be an option to never show certain categories...or have a parental control somewhere.

Safe Search Please

Is there a way to apply a safe search on ebay, all too often explicit images appear in my perfectly normal search. I don't want to see sex items or raunchy images coming up. My children are walking around the house. Just now I was looking at an art book listing and below were suggestions for pornographic looking books and 'love positions', albeit foreign but the images were clear.

There should be an option to disregard all this content from my searches or suggested listings.

Try this and see if it helps..

Click under your name as though to log out and there is a link saying site settings. Click that, scroll down the page and click site preferences. Click on the link that says advertising preferences and deactivate any that allow ebay partners to use information from stored cookies, by sliding the switches to off.

If you are worried someone may have had access to your account, and you are certain nobody in your household might have searched for something with any similar keywords to the items shown, then delete all recent search/viewing history and consider changing your account password if you feel concerned.
