      <description>&lt;P&gt;Seller sent the wrong item, I asked them several times to re-send correct item by first class post as need urgently for a cake that had to be completed by friday. &amp;nbsp;They would not confirm that items would be sent 1st class, so I advised if they hadn't confirmed by 11am today I would process return and refund through ebay. &amp;nbsp;The items have been posted back today using ebays pre-paid label. The seller is now asking me to open a non-receipt case. &amp;nbsp;Why do i have to open a non-receipt case, I received the wrong item? &amp;nbsp; Any help appreciated.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>Thanks for your reply, I’ve not sent anything back in years, so if I processed return under wrong item sent, seller accepted return, I posted item, therefore I don’t understand why I should have to open a case in the resolution centre as the seller is requesting, surely the proof of posting&amp;nbsp; and tracking No. should be enough for them to process refund?       <description>If you don't Return through an EBay Case. The Seller could just ignore you. Sellers do get a Fee Credit as long as they accept the Return within 3 Business days.</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;The seller seems to be having a brain malfunction. You obviously can't open an INR case for something you've received, and especially for something you've opened a return request for...! Just ignore him, and follow Ebay's return request instructions. Once tracking proves delivery or attempted delivery, the seller has 3 days in which to action full refund through the return request. If he doesn't, you'll see the option to escalate the return to Ebay, and they'll force the refund.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Never ask a seller to send a replacement. And never go down the DIY route when returning goods. Always use Ebay's returns system, return for full refund, and place a new order if you wish to, so that you have a fresh transaction number should something be wrong with that item too.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://community.ebay.co.uk/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/3639076"&gt;@kone1949&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
